(*6952cd93*):: I used to trash metalcore because I listened to real extreme metal before any of the corny metalcore bands emerged out of hardcore and emo in the late ’90s- and anything cool they maybe did, Deftones did better. But after 20 years of developing the sound and ripping off melodic death metal bands, and Meshuggah, now it sounds like a better version of nu metal.
